Getting ready! NA meetup

Starting tomorrow, I'll be home on the farm, getting things spruced up for the MTO North American Meetup!  Everything should be ready to go when folks start showing up Friday. 

Saturday will be fun filled.   Besides Steamed Crabs, Maryland Style ( :drool:),  I'm planning on grilling chicken as well.  There will likely be corn and some other veggies and of course chips and Beverages (Adult and non-Adult type).

I will be checking in periodically over the next week or so.  Leave a message in this thread or PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as I see it.

Depending on crowds and weather, I expect some use of firearms as well.  :D

Sounds like the most important thing to bring then is an appetite! :drool: :D

I'll be in town around noon on Friday. :) From what I'm told, Jie (jzmtl) will be there around the same time. :) Anything in particular I ought to bring? I was thinking you guys might like to see all the Multitasker models. 8) I'll throw in the big new SOG Blacktip tool as well. And maybe a one hand opening Vic Spirit if you're lucky! :pok: :D

Afraid I have nothing to offer in tool department, anything I have you probably have 5!

As far as knives though I have mostly Spydercos and a few Boker pluses, I'll bring some less common ones.

Due to my assets being heavily invested in plier tools, ::) I never get to check out any cool knives, except for those few of yours that have transferred though. :-\ So I'd really enjoy checking out some of your other favorites if you don't mind. :)

Tomorrow's the day! Possible Thunderstorms Saturday, so there may be a quick trip to DC and the Smithsonian instead of outside trip. Hafta play it by ear.

Jie and I both arrived safely today, and are currently both fat and happy thanks to Nate's own special gourmet pizza! :drool: :drool: Time to hit the hay for now, but we're all looking forward to the arrival of a couple more members tomorrow. :)



The National Aquarium eh? We just might have to consider that if its storming tomorrow. (do they have an old tools section?) :D
