Hex bit adaptor ...

... for the Swissgrip ...

Mines gone walkabout and as it's discontinued I doubt I'd readily get a replacement from Wenger. Does anyone know if the SOG Powerlock adaptors (or any other for that matter) will fit the Swissgrip screwdriver? Will any "off the shelf" stuff fit instead?

I had a look at my Leatherman adapters & none of them worked on the SwissGrip.
The only thing is the old handle recess I reckon

That Wenger bit holder has to be one of the most lost MT items ever made

OK, cheers Mat. I've put feelers out to see if I can get one elsewhere, but you're right - it might end up being an extension piece on the side socket that's the way forward  :salute:

I like the looks of the Wenger with the side adapter hole. What's the name of that model and is it still available?

That's the Swissgrip (or Wengergrip) and it's discontinued but they do pop up from time to time. Keep your eye on the trade forums here if you're looking for one

Thanks,
I'm always a day late when it comes to "cool things." I'm quite happy with my current collection of SAK's and other multi-tools, but I'm always looking for other gadgets.

Well if you want a big Wenger with a side hex drive, there's always the large Mike Horn model

WOOHOO!!!  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Just got an email through from UK agent saying Wenger are asking for my address as Wenger have said they'll replace it free of charge. First time I've had to call on their after sales support - but it doesn't get much better than that.

I've contacted CS @ Wenger and mine are comming...  :ahhh :ahhh :tu: :tu: :tu:

Wanted to wait untill I got them and then to post, but you beat me to it... So, if anyone else needs adapter, bit kit and spring that holds the bit adapter on pliers handle, get to CS Wenger and ask...  :tu: :tu: :D

Spring that hold bit adapter .... new one on me
Mine came with just loose bits and adapter originally. Now I'm even more interested to see what arrives
