he seemed really rude / arrogant (or cocky) in this video.  I hope the wingman still has screws, and not rivets, when they are released.. I'd like to replace that clam shell package opener with something.

Good grief Why did he wait forever to post this?

And dont be talking about rivets, I'm planning on pulling a surgical procedure as soon as these come out to get a wingkick, for edc, and a sideman for the car.

I knew I saw a ruler on back of the file in the other video, though I still don't recall any official mention.

I think it was deliberate. He means he's going to swap some tools around between the two models. I'm thinking about doing the same.

I noticed the same thing on all his Shot Show vids.  I used to be a real Nutnfancy fan boy, but I can't even watch his new stuff.

There's some good info in this vid, but not much I didn't already know from coming around here.

He's always kinda been that way.  These days with the generally much longer videos there's less information and more "him".

However he generally does quite in-depth, reasonably well-balanced reviews and has a serious bully pulpit going so I'm sure manufacturers are happy to talk to him anyways.

As irritating as him constantly saying "nutnfancy" every freaking sentence (among other things) is, I still watch his videos just because they have good information.

Though his MT reviews are very much lacking, it's the only place where his "non-biased" approach seems to fall apart. I get that the Charge TTi is a great tool, but you don't have to compare everything to it in head-to-head combat, whatever happened to reviewing things based on their own merits?

Except the scissor orgy, I thought he did OK.
Brad however seemed pissed.

While Nutn may be a bit full of himself so apparently is leatherman.

Awls and scissors have been BEGGED for, and while they half heartedly listen, and produce niche models like the surge, and supertool, they havent addressed any of the request other than to make a larger priver bulkier model.

and while it is semi cool that they are taking design cues from the forum (or blatant rip offs)

I sometimes wish they would produce (and possibly credit) some of the more elaborate designs.

And how about sidekick S and wingman S for swap  lol

I dont know I wanted a skeletool, but have been carrying a wave since they "upgraded" me. and havent had a huge issue with bulk.  I do still want a skele because I think I need to just have one and use it edc for a while to see, as I am actually thinking of clipping it on belt loop.  I have also started carrying the blast which begs the question, if I dual carry now  If these new tools fit the bil should I just dual carry one with a skele or come up with something else.

I have really been thinking of modding, if i coulf get a few test mules

I'm pretty sure a common request was a Squirt with scissors and pliers. Then comes the PS4. Awls have really only been begged for on the Wave/Charge. If you can find a place to fit one without removing any of the other tools, I'll be very impressed. The newest models from LM are the Wingman, Sidekick, the PS4/ES4, the MUT, the Style, and the Style CS. A lot of those have scissors.
The more elaborate mods, (Evil and J-sews along with some others) really don't make a lot of business sense for LM. Maybe the Juice J-sews has been working on, but most of the complex mods are to serve a specific purpose.

and while it is semi cool that they are taking design cues from the forum (or blatant rip offs)

As far as I know the only two forum mods to make it into production have been the Freestyle and the new CS. Also, one of the points of this forum is to rip off each other ideas. We just request pictures. Luckily, LM takes some really nice pictures.

I'm thinking that his choice of words, as well as his "attitude" might be to prevent people form saying something like: "That wasn't a review, that was just a long commercial for Leatherman"

Well in my opinion, SHOT isn't a place for reviews, as you can't have really any hands-on work experience with the products in question. I think it's just a place to show off products, and especially new stuff.

True point. He could have prefaced the video by saying something like: "We're just taking a look at new tools, and their features. I'll keep any critical comments until I can do a proper review of the tools."
