Three refurbished tools coming tommorow!

I sent in a blast, core, and surge to be repaired and they are coming sometime tommorow! I send them in because they were my some of my beater tools and they were getting pretty banged up. I broke the main blade off the blast prying. The tools on the core came out easily when I flipped it open ( simlar to def's problem), and the surge is missing the bit retention spring on the main bit driver. I really beat the crap out of my tools!

Cool, I've got something special coming tomorrow also...knowing when something is going to arrive usually brightens the whole day for me

Check them out for any oddities like the double scissor Wave someone got a few days ago!

That sounds like fun! Do you know what they did to fix you up, or will it be more like the lotery?

The little spring came out of my Surges bit diver also. J-Sews recommended putting some clear nail polish on the spring to "seal" it in place. Worked like a charm for me.

oh, this has never been a problem before- i was just cleaning the tool and i knocked it out and it fell donw the drain

Mine popped out while I was using my Surge to change the wheels on my sons skateboard. I found it a put it back in place. Then it kept working it's way loose when taking the bits out of the driver.  The nail polish thing works really good though.
