Hook with nail file
on: May 18, 2011, 01:32:00 AM
Today I got myself a Compact. Neat knife, minimalist but very useful. The hook has a naif file on the back of it. Neither if the two other Vics that I own that have a hook (Super Tinker and Champion) have that. Is the Compact the only model that has the file there?

Funny, I just saw my very first hook-with-a-nail-file last weekend at Nates. :) It seemed like a useful addition, one they should put on all hooks.

Yeah definitely, especially if the model doesn't have any kind of file. I've often wished it was there on my Super Tinker.

Its also on one of my favourites, the Duke of Edinbourgh, which is the kissing cusson to the Compact, differing in having a Philips instead of a CS,and a round tipped blade
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!
