What cam and lens are you using in taking macro shots?

I've been using Nikon D3100 kit lens 18-55mm for the past 2 months.

Just recently I switched to 70-300mm telephoto/macro lens in taking macro and bokeh shots.

My cam with the 70-300mm lens mounted. The one on the left is the kit lens.

Some macro shots taken with the telepho/macro lens.

What makes your telephoto?

Currently I have a 50mm f1.4 a nikon kit lens (same as yours) and a tamron 70-300 macro/tele looking to sell the 50mm to fund a wide angle

I have a Sigma 50mm f/2,8-45 for my Canon 7D.

Planing on selling the macro and my 55-200mm since my 15-85 mm is used 95% of the time.

Of course, the first thing right after an external flash that should be on every photographer list of thing to get is a tripod,

Nikon D70 with Nikorr 28-105mm Macro.  Not the best but it does what I need it to.
