Black Leatherman Charge ALX-SOLD
on: November 18, 2007, 04:46:24 PM
I have for sale a black oxide (I think) Leatherman Charge ALX. It comes with a set of bits and the nylon sheath that was in the package with it. The sheath is designed to go on MOLLE vests, but I found that it could easily be worn sideways on a belt, which, as I understand, is the popular way these days.

It has been used, but only very minorly. It still is just as good as a new one. I can post pictures if requested.

I'd like around 70-80 American (most people here are American, right?) but I am open to offers, I just need some money to buy my uncle a Klamath for Christmas.

And this will be shipping out of Kansas in the U.S., so if you live in America, the shipping costs won't be too high.

SOLD

Would you be interested in trading an original wave for it?

If I had money, I would love to. But I need cash so I can get the Klamath.

I've gotten an offer from Benner as well, so I'll go take some pictures, and later we'll figure out who gets it.

Allright, I took some decent pictures, but I lost my cord again. I should tape that thing to my computer!

I didn't know this until I took the pictures, but the wire cutters are a tad close, so they jam sometimes. It's nothing major, but I thought you guys would like to know.

Ahh, well then, that should pretty well rule it out for Benner and Leatherman123. (They are both very particular when it comes to wire cutters.)

Looks like that leaves only me who is interested...  ;):D

Seems like a coat hanger might ravage up the black oxide finish a bit  :-\

I tried that. It didn't help much, but they weren't that bad in the first place. It was harder than I expected, though. I think SOG has spoiled me!

By the way, I'm looking for a SwitchPlier, so if you have one, J-Sews, It'd be a good item to trade for the Charge!

Well I do happen to have a SwitchPlier, but I'd like to keep it. They are rather unique, although not very useful.

Any luck with those pictures?

Excellent luck with the pictures, just not so much with the camera cord  :P.

I'll look double-hard tonight I promise!

And about the SP, what if I throw in a genuine Victorinox Classic SD?

Sorry, I gotta pass on that trade offer. I like my SwitchPlier too much to give it up.

Maybe check with Navihawk and see if he's interested in a swap? I won't be offended.

Viper, I was wondering if you were still interested in the trade for the 2003 new old wave? I took a few pics of it real quick and thought you would like to look!

It's of the rare white-oxide version, taken in the middle of a snowstorm  ;)

Sorry I've been gone. I went all the way to Missouri, America for American Thanksgiving. I found a cord, and brought it to post the pictures, but I forgot my camera!  :-[

Anyways, I'm back now, so I'm getting the pictures up as soon as I hit "Post".

Sorry it took me longer than expected, I had some computer problems.

So, without further ado, I have ONE WHOLE PICTURE!!!
The camera flash doesn't exactly help the look of the black oxide, but other pictures will display it better.

More are coming up as I get them ready.

Here we are!

If you need any more just ask!

EDIT:

The scratches on the bit holder are normal wear from the tool, by the way.
And here are two more of the plier head and the other tools. Sorry about all the bad pictures!

Some of the black oxide one the handles, as you can see, was wiped off. This happened when I was looking over the Charge immediately after opening the package.

OH!!!
I just remembered, I think I have a Youtube video about this if you want a better look!
