Looking for two Kick pocket clips.
on: November 20, 2007, 01:04:50 AM
It's my understanding that the pocket clips can be used to dissassemble Leatherman tools (specifically the current issue ones with that bolt head).

I'd like to buy/borrow a pair if anyone has them to make a megatool out of my Kick and Blast :multi:

I'd pay for shipping both ways within the US if someone would let me borrow them for a few days.

Remember there are two different sized bolts- a 6mm and 7mm.  I don't have a Kick/Blast/Fuse handy to check, but I know that to disassemble the ALX/AL Charges you need both sizes.

Of course if you are just mucking about with the implement ends, this may not apply to you even if the bolts are different sizes.

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.

Specifically it's my Kick and Blast which look like the same bolt heads on both impliment ends.  If someone could test fit their Kick clip and see it it can turn a Blast bolt I'd appreciate it :D

Yep, they both have the same bolt heads on the implement end. (The bolt heads on the plier end is slightly larger)  The Kick pocket clip will work fine as a wrench on either tool.

By the way, MoonTrail has got the pocket clips for $5.00 each HERE. It might be almost as cheap to buy a pair as to pay someone for shipping costs both ways?

What is the shipping like with Moontrail?  I don't see a chart on their site...

Hmmm. A short time ago when I bought mine, shipping for accessories was free.  Now I put two pocket clips into their checkout, and it says shipping via USPS is $5.83    :-\
