This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

Nice knives mate  8) 8) 8).

Nico are you familiar with the French multis made under the 'Seaboard Steel' branding
They were made in the 50's for the US market.

Then there are the the Le Depanneur multis

I have wondered how many of these French made tools made it onto the French market or were they predominately exported  .

Please keep posting photos of your French goodies mate  :tu: :tu: :tu:

I make often flea market but i've never seen this model.
I've seen à ''Le Depanneur'' on a french forum ''NeoCzen''. I think '' Michelin'' have make a similar model.

I really like the lines of these knives (Tony Lopes).  I went to his blogsite (your link).  Some of the longer fixed blades have the shape of what we (Americans) call a French kitchen knife (or Chef's knife).  Extremely nice!

I believe it's a lock Bob. Some type of lockback at that; you have to pull the ring at the front to disengage it.

A French 'My First SAK'  :o :D 8) 8) 8) 8).

I am stunned at how many pocket knives are made in France  :o :o. I have had a look around Ebay & besides Opinel's there are not any other I can find for sale  :( :(. The domestic market must be very strong   8) 8).

Keep the photos coming mate  :pok: :pok: :D :D

With a lock mechanism, safer than a sak...
It's about 8 or 10 euros here, i have looking for shipping cost to Australia but they are prohibitive...
I can ask a post office if you want.

Look at the ''Opiwan'' products:
