Thanks guys, yes its very much real.

The link to the British Blades forum page in my first post has quite a few paragraphs on the method and thought process i went through.

link

I didn't want to post it all again because there was so much of it.

(sorry i didn't realise the first links were broken, now fixed)

*cleans my eyeballs and puts them back in* WOW!

I'd estimate that thing isn't half factory components at this point. I really dig it! This a true one of a kind tool, and I wish I had the skill to match it.

That is amazing. Does that serrated blade actually work? I really love the way those screw thumbstuds look on the opposite side of the blades.

I copied the serrations from an old colt knife that had the serrations laser cut into the blade, i assume after hardening, but the knife didnt seem popular so i would suspect they dont work that well, i havent tried to put a proper edge on it or the main blade but i will in time. In fact the only real advantage of this serration type is that its relatively easy to sharpen.

As for making any more...like this, definitely not, however i am working on a 1/4" square drive tool for the wave/charge and because i am planning to get the patterns water jet cut its very cost effective to do lots, so after some testing i may feel ready to sell some but that still demends on a large number of factors. Not least of which being whether or not a square drive is any real use without a ratcheting system but i endevour to find out. I feel it will depend on what is kept in the necessary accompanying socket/bit kit.

Thanks again for the kind words
