Someone selling NIB Scientists on Ebay for $35

I don't know if scam or not, or just seller who doesn't know what he has.  It seems he had at least 4 of them.  After one sold it was relisted again.  Every time I tried to buy one someone beat me to  it.  This all happened about 15 mins ago.  Also the Vic # isn't right it it?

Looks like he sells anything and everything so he probably didn't know what he had.

Thanks for the heads up.  The same seller relisted a NIB Scientist this morning for $35, so I bought it.  I'll post here when I receive it (crossing my fingers it's not a scam).

  I bought several of these Scientists on Saturday .  Thought I did very well ..    But, as of this morning he has refunded my $$ for all but 1 so far.  And recieved this email.

will be shipped without any problems.

I managed to buy two on Sunday and got the same fire message as well. Now it says one has ship and one refunded. Got this message

The guy is picking and choosing who he is sending them to.  IMO he should have taken the available ones and sent them out in the order the auctions were won till they were gone.             After a few emails with the guy I can say he is not very good(putting it lightly) at answering questions.

One of the big reasons I avoid the FleaBay...  not to mention PP's predatory lending practices...  They can bite my shiny metal ass!

well I just did a qucik search on the big "E" and no go on any scientists.. Oh well, it would've been nice to score one of these for the collection, I'll keep an eye out for now on until I do score one..

I don't use the E either. My guess is that the guy realized what he actually had and attempted to limit the number that went out the door at the reduced price, without generating TOO much negative feedback. My guess is he will shortly have more Scientists for sale but with a much higher price. Just guessing though. I hope no one was injured in the fire.
