Won 3 New Waves on ebay....modding time?

OH man.

I just won 3 waves and a Blast on ebay from a NTSA seizure. They are all in super good condition.

If you could do ANYTHING to a wave, what would you do?

Keep in mind, I have a mill, a lathe, and a lot of mechanical skills under my belt.

If it were me...

I'd remove the mini driver and the can opener and put in a second large driver (ala Charge ALX) AND a real live (possibly self manufactured) awl.

Tools would be:

Scissors, bit driver in one handle and second bit driver, awl in the other handle.

Edit to add: I might mill a hole in a handle somewhere to put the mini-driver for drastic emergencies, but that would be purely secondary on the list.

The MUT has a hammer? whoa.

I'll look into it. I have a PST project to get through first before I go at the more modern, complicated tools.

PST, think outside opening tools and OHO knife...

So I took a look at the MUT today at a knife store and the ONLY way to make a reasonable hammer facsimile on the WAVE is to basically negate the inside tools on one side of the handle. The hammer should sit right on the edge like the MUT but who knows, I'll have to source a bit of steel to work with.

Maybe...I can make it removable...too many moving parts would make for a wiggly hammer.

ALSO, I won a HUGE batch of 'broken' LM and Gerber MTs so I can steal parts and such from them if I need. mwhahah...so begin my summer of MT love.
