Keep checking the Auction Ads at the top- I've seen them come up a few times.

Will do!

I know they are not too expensive new, but I am not sure how often I'd use it to be honest, so I just want a cheapie.

It's a handy little bugger, especially with tools that don't have a 1/4" driver- the only problem is the extra sheath- if they could have found a way to put it in the same sheath as the tool.  If I have to carry multiple sheaths, I probably won't.

I was talking about the top one, but as it happens I am also looking for the removable bit driver to fit a juice as well (bottom one).

I can't help with the bottom one, but I have the top one.  I don't have any particular desire to get rid of it, but if you want it and can't find another one at a reasonable price we may be able to work something out.

They are yes.  But not at that price.  :o

Like I say I will probably hardly use them, so I am ideally looking for just a cheap second hand set.

Leatherman list the adapter as costing $20 in the US.

Just a small increase for over here then!!!!!

I think I picked mine up for about that price- $25 I think it was.  If you like I can check the price and maybe pick one up for you?

That might be a good option.

I'll see if the bay of evil offers a decently priced used one.

Although if I lived in USA I would probably spend more than I do here, as prices over there are so much cheaper I don't think I could resist buying them  :P

Very true!

My spending was fine till I found Tim (felinevet) and now I find myself looking at his site most days.

While we are on this topic, can someone in the US give me the RRP on say a LM Core and then I'll compare to the average price over here.

Yeah Tim's great isn't he. I ordered my black spirit from him, great bloke to deal with. I don't check his website that often as I'm not a huge SAK collector but I do now fancy one of those coloured alox SAK's after seeing Micky D's farmer picture on SOSAK  :) But I won't as I must stop buying stuff  :P

I think they are around the $80 mark for a street price in the US, but there have been some even better deals available- I am pretty certain that mine was bought for me by a forum member for around the $20 mark.
