I'm watching the history channel 101 gadgets that changed the world and #79 was the swiss army knife. They are also to have a part featuring Tim Leatherman. I'll let you know what # Leatherman gets.

Yeah, I suppose I can see that.  I think the SAK has left a more significant mark, since it's universally recognized, but I suppose Leatherman jump started a dead industry.  Still, I have met people who don't know what a Leatherman is, but I've never seen anyone that hadn't encountered a Swiss Army Knife.

Funny thing was they described the Leatherman tool as MacGyver-like.
