Compact with no hook ?

Compact with no hook ?

I recently picked up an older Compact model knife...was surprised to see the corkscrew is the older knurled type and the knife has no hook . anyone have information on this variation??

I think it was 1991 that the hook was introduced, so your knife is at least 20 years old.
