Oh, and I also have a Vic Nail Clipper 580 coming.  Didn't really get along with the regular Vic nail clipper I recently got.

After several months of going straight.......not buying more than 1 MT/SAK per month. I decided to check what was happening out there

I couldn't believe how quickly wenger stocks have depleted in such a short time. I knew I had several models missing, but honestly I intended to seek them out in the New Year. That would have been a very bad idea. Over the course of last week it was brought home to me just how quickly wenger stocks have depleted....there are hardly any available now here in the UK. Both tattoosteve and Lowtech very kindly came to my help.

Thanks to these amazing fellas I now have (hopefully) completed my wants list.

Wenger Ranger 51, 151, 151 clip, 155, 160 clip & 66
Wenger Evo Snow 10 & 13 + Blaze 10

Really could have done without the expense just before Christmas, but as we all know it's Sod's law they'd be gone when I wanted them.

A huge thanks to Steve and Thomas for their help.  :salute:
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I have some scale materials inbound. A couple of different woods, some carbon fiber, and a bit of yellow G10. Over the festive break, I want to have a go at producing some SAK scales, and if I'm feeling up to it, a couple of other projects too

Nope, he had a 3310 and a 3300, the 3300 was real the 3310 was not.

(Differences; butterfly on the tip of the clip, fakes ones way about twice as much, font on the clip is "rugged" and the clip is bent with a flat on the tip)

My coworker got the good one for 180, so still worth it.

He had to know, he seemed like quite the knife nut, had a BO Tread and a Buck 119 on his belt.

A used pair of older Dewitt Petersen 6LN needle nose Vise Grips (bought secondhand off Ebay for $10).  Even though this was the same amount that a new pair sells for, those are made in China, and aren't built as tough as the old USA made ones. My grandfather has had various Dewitt Petersen Vise Grips which have lasted for decades, thus I chose the older USA version.

I gave up on trying to use the new Irwin Vise Grip multiplier I got at Lowe's earlier this month. The "quick release" function does not work when clamped down on something.  The other stuff (screwdriver and knife) are awkward to use.  However, I found  that the 6LN model  the tool is based off of is very versatile for most things I need Vise Grips for--plus wire cutters.  I can use my SAK and/or Leatherman for the other stuff.  The dedicated Vise Grips also weigh much less than the Vise Grip multiplier.
