Finally received my Gerber Grappler  :mail:  and a Victorinox rachet.   :like:
In the little bit of time I have spent with it, I like it better than the Leatherman Crunch I bought. After the MP600 challange I will spend some time with it.

Queen Steel No. 45 Big Chief Easy Opener.   While the Big Chief is a really old pattern, this was one of the last they made, dating to 2008-2009 according to a PDF on Queen's site).  I decided upon this model due to the shackle and it being able to be opened with heavy gloves.  This will be a hard use knife.

Thanks for that info.  I don't know why I didn't notice it, it would have been in one of my regular PST searches.  Maybe I was too tired to look properly after being away camping at a dog agility trial for the weekend. 

Oh well, it has gone to a good home where it will be appreciated (and I do have one the same).
