I noticed Camping Survival had considerably discounted a number of  their used knives, especially the cheaper ones, which $5-$10 knives were about $2 cheaper than they had been,  so I finally purchased two I had in my wishlist, an older Buck 301 (probably Schrade or Camillus built) for $8 (it was listed as a Winchester, I emailed them, and was told I would get the Buck, and am hoping that's what I get) and an Imperial Frontier USA lockback for $5.  No photos, as it's nearly impossible to extract photos from their site.

From Etsy, I purchased a Vic Alpineer, as I'm on a one layer kick lately. I just realized that I'm only one away from the 111mm Level 1 badge, and I don't know what the fifth will be--DAK 2010?  Equestrian?

Not here yet but a Wenger soldier 88 and a sleeve carrier for my spirit don't think they will come this week but maybe next. There is a long way over the pond

Congrats on the PT-540
Of all the SAKs and MTs I own the SOG Paladins are my favourite by far...especially the BIG PT-540. If I'm in the mood to just want to look and handle a MT, the big paladin is my first choice. It's almost a work of art. The Jaws are beautiful. It's everything a MT should be for me, A big hulking slab of steel with tons of gadget factor  :ahhh :ahhh

Enjoy :salute:

Well, it’s here! Meet “Bella”, the newest part of the family, we adopted her from the shelter, she’s a mix, we think boxer / Pitbull terrier / and possibly mastiff, her previous owners were a little abusive and even tried cropping her tail, but she was taken care of by the shelter, and now she’s here! I must say she fits right in, a little goofy and even made herself right at home, our little furball(cat) is a little hesitant but hasn’t had any problems.. normally we’re not ones for pits but that face is just so cute, and after hearing of what happened we couldn’t resist.. :D

Our first dog was kept in a cage unless it was raining out, then they threw him out in the yard, while he was kept in a care it was way to small, and they would smoke(not only cigs) and blow it at him, but they wanted him put down because he jumped up, and yet they thought him that, but mom was in a bad mood and said that’s it, put him down and handed the neighbor the leash, luckily the neighbor was a friend at the time who also had the dogs sister. Anyway he brought the Mrs the dog and she spent 3hrs grooming him, took about 5lbs of fur off that was all gross, a few day later we stopped at our friends to show off and the neighbor saw the dog and said OMG what did they do, their not feeding him he looks 20lbs lighter, well the friend yelled at them and said “no, that’s what happens when you take care of them”
After him we adopted the cat, who was found in a basement trying to survive.. the one who lived in the house was friends with one of our neighbors and they knew we were looking for an addition, so they brought him over and we got him,, and well he’s been great!

Mrs has sooo wanted to try one of these so I told her to go ahead and try it, so we got our first package, it’s food from around the world, I thought your suppose to get all from one country then a diff next month, but most of the stuff in this pack is South Korea, and a couple others, UK, turkey, and even one says US, so I guess we’ll see.. anyone see something they like?

Woooow, that was some good stuff, except two, that ice cream cone that doesn’t need to be frozen, or the little bag with the crowned bird, err, it was like a pickled cookie..err..
But that was fun, got the family around the table and just tried them out, a great 30min! That would be a nice monthly little get together..

I'm beginning to think that the USPS lost the Camping Survival order. It's been sitting on "Shipment Received, Package Awaiting Acceptance" for a week.

First Generation Leatherman Wave. (didn't care for the removable bits, and the fit and finish of the older Leathermans is miles ahead of what it is today).
