Hey guys,

I just ordered my first ever SwissBucks, both of which are supposed to be NOS in their original boxes.

As far as I can tell, they are a Swiss Legend (which was a whopping $10) and a Greensmaster ($25).

Did I do well?

Nice. SwissBucks are everything good about Wenger, but with better scales. IMHO. :)

And awesome clip point blades on all the larger models.  I broke down my Globetrotter because some idiot broke the Phillips and damaged the liners (and bent the blade). In retrospect, should have sent it to Vic. But I'm sure it would have lost the whole reason I liked the knife, the clip point blade.  Buck+Wenger was I think one of the greatest knife maker collaborations ever.

Two leather sheaths. And not just any old sheaths, some pretty rare ones. $20 for the pair.

Kabar Marine Mate sheath; originally designed to hold a rigging knife (Camillus for Kabar) and a Kabar version of the Duluth Handiman/Handiboy. I will use it for carrying the DH-16 Handiboy I already own and a larger folder, but plan to build a correct set for my collection. Kabar rigging knives show up regularly, but I have never seen a Kabar Handiboy for sale.

Case; probably for Folding Hunter.  I have my great-uncle's Folding Hunter, but not a period-correct sheath. The current "Large Job Case" sheath is ugly, doesn't fit, and poorly made. However, this is exactly what it came with in the late 1960s.

Got a Böker Tech Tool and a Vic Camper coming in. Especially curious about the Tech Tool. Seems Böker made some interesting choices on that tool and i look forward to check it out.

A pair of Scout knives: the Camillus 99 Utility and Ulster Utility; guessing it's a BSA missing the shield.

Under $10 for both; total and shipped!   Blades are near full, the other tools intact, and the bails still there. The Ulster is missing a shield. Scales are good otherwise, so I'm hoping I can find the rim of a shell casing or something else that will fit.  Camillus has some shrinkage.

And the Bosch Outrider from the group buy. Would have been in my hands now; if it weren't for the USPS goofing up, and sending it to the wrong post office. I've noticed this problem is becoming more and more common. Usually; it's stuff from the Northeast ending up in Florida or Georgia; but this is the first that's ended up at the wrong post office from our regional hub. Now it will likely be tommorrow or Monday. And that's why I'm becoming more a fan of UPS for anything but regular mail.

Had this in my eBay cart for going on a year; decided it was finally time to bite the bullet.

Attack Rescue Survive Personal Survival Kit Knife (PSSK). Wanting a small fixed blade for pocket carry (as despite being perfectly legal, and most people around here caring less, I just don't feel comfortable carrying a fixed blade in public), I figured that being thin and designed to be a part of an Altoids tin survival kit, this fit the bill perfectly. It's also 440C.  It's a neck knife, something I typically don't go for, but I might carry it like that and see how it goes.

Never been able to justify the retail price of a Charge TTi. But found this like new one from someone I’ve bought from before at half retail price. Should get to me early next week.  :woohoo:
