:like:  That Gerber set looks like something handy to keep in a vehicle.

Exactly what I thought.   :salute:

A box of 12 used knives including a Case Mini Buckthorn and what appears to be a white handled Vic Cybertool. The other knifes are mostly unknown intangibles....

That Mini Blackhorn should be a good one. I loved mine-- got it when I was 11 and it was the second Case I owned, and the first I carried. It was a John Deere edition and unlike the standard one, had a polished blade. Unfortunately lost it two or three years ago. Going to probably get one next knife store run.

I'm not much on knives, but a chance landing of a Cybertool along with the Case Mini was worth the price at $20.

At that price, you stole that lot!

I'm cautiously optimistic.  There are 6 knives unseen.  No photo.  Most look like junk.

CRKT/Champion Spark Plugs CT-635 "Cut N' Gap".    Back in 1991, a man by the name of Michael J. Hulsey patented a special gapping tool made for folding knives.  He apparently sold the blades to both CRKT and Camillus in the 1990s, with Camillus mostly making them for NAPA and CRKT Champion. I wasn't paying close to $200 for the Camillus, and stumbled on the CRKT purely by accident when researching the former.  I only paid close to $20 for the CRKT; and it is new in the box with paperwork.

Too bad the seller didn't have two; or I would have bought one as a user for working around the farm (I often work on the small engine stuff; a friend of mine often helps me with the bigger stuff as he's a heavy equipment mechanic); and one to put up. Because of the rarity of the knife, I probably won't ever use this one. In addition to a number of feeler gauges and dedicated gapping tools;  already have a Gatco Frog Tool with a gapping function and quite a few other tools that are handy when working on equipment.  And it's saved my rear lots of times--I've used the 3/8 socket adapter a lot when I could not find a ratchet, but I did the socket I needed to pull a spark plug on a tiller for example.  And the 9/16 wrench on gate hinges so much I've lost count.

Nice ones! Never saw a Laguiole one before, and the quality of that Buck one is great!

I've been meaning to start a pin badge collection myself. Canadian fire departments and apparatus builders used to issue pins modeled after their apparatus, and there are hundreds of them; and none too expensive.

Very attractive pins WS. It always impresses me how they get the detail into these. Would love to see the factory process!  :like:

I remember How It's Made actually did an episode on them several years ago. Dunno if it's up on YouTube or something. I know it seems as if they gave the companies that were featured the right to publicly post the episodes on their website at one point. I know of quite a few companies that did.

Wait, I looked it up.  Here the segment is on pin badges. These are hockey-related.
