I plan to send off a Gerber MP600 Sight Tool and Case Slimline Trapper to have warranty work done today. My new rule is that if it can't be used as-is, or easily repaired by me; it's sent in for warranty work to the manufacturer unless I need parts from it. If the company no longer exists, it's to be sent to an expert to be restored/customized to my liking. I've been wanting to get into both SAK modding, and traditional knife restoration, but I don't have all the right tools.

Just ordered oil for my motorbike
It comes with the oil filter but not a sump
plug washer so I had to order that separately  ???
I would of thought that they would have one to go with it  :think:

Because of a recent mishap, R-22 refrigerant (unless my folks decide to replace the system, with R-22 being on its way out) will likely be ordered tomorrow.  This is basically a bandage until we can replace the HVAC system. The current unit is 15 years old and on its last leg anyway, and my little mishap just sped up something that was already bound to happen.

Before that mess happened, I ordered this, the Siku Mercedes Sprinter/Rosenbauer CL fire engine.  This isn't the Interschutz exclusive I wanted (which was more detailed and accurate to the demonstrator unit), but the standard issue. Still good enough, and it was available with Prime (meaning it would ship from the US), and I used reward points to get it down to $13.





It is based on an actual Rosenbauer product; unfortunately, it uses many parts from Siku's standard Sprinter casting and thus isn't exactly the same especially as it retains the standard Sprinter ride height and wheels.

Most years my daughter and I get to 2 or 3 knife shows a year.  Last year, she got married, this year she gave me my first granddaughter.  Well...
We only made it to one show this year and I'm getting the heebie-jeebies.
I gotta get my fix, of sharp pointy things.

Next year is SOOO far off.
