Does look a little suspicious, eg the lanyard hook.
:iagree:
Some of the spotting doesn't look quite like BO scuffing/rubbing to me, or at least none I have seen. But, as far as the tool loadout and handle configuration with the CC pliers, it looks right from the limited research attempted before clicking BIN(didn't want to miss out).
I am hoping the odd splotches are just oil residue. The seller's other tools look alright.
There is always eBay buyer protection though, in case I get a hodgepodged CC PST with paint on it.

I wouldn't get too worried just yet, some of LM's early efforts at BO coatings could be a bit rough & ready.

I have some oldish BO PSTs that appear to be unused, but the BO coating is somewhat "agricultural"

That is definitely a relief to read, Greg! Thank you!

CRKT KERT coming Tuesday to replace the one on my work badge. I gave it away last week to a coworker after an incident with a missing O2 wrench.

Too many great pictures of yellow-scaled SAKs for me not to make a plan...
Now what to put them on?

Waiting on a few things from Ebay

i) Wrist worn sweatbands, but not for the conventional use though. I have one of those copper and magnetic "therapy" bracelets on my right wrist, and don't want it scratching up my guitars. The sweatband is to wear over the top, as it's easier to do that than finangle the bracelet on and off all the time.

ii) A 128Gb micro SD card. Phone is running low on memory. Not desperately low, there's still a few Gb left, but low enough for it to keep giving me annoying warning messages. I want to add more MP3s too, so I figured loading all the current tunes and all the "new" ones on a memory card will fix both problems.

iii) A mini MP3 player. Once I've loaded the memory card with music, I might choose not to put it in the phone. Even if I do, it's an old phone, and when it finally gives up the ghost, I'll be going back to dumb phones. I'm not paying out good money for one of the latest data raping, pocket stalker, tracking devices, and since Blackberry's new operating system comes pre-infested with Google stuff, there's no smartphones I trust anymore. So it makes sense to keep all the music on a separate device. It also means that I can turn off the phone to save battery, or just not be disturbed, or even leave the phone at home should I choose to, and still have access to the music.

:like:  I passed on the Rebar when I first got into LMs because I felt it was too "light duty'. After getting one from Barry a couple months back, now I wonder what I did without it. Lighter and slimmer but just as rugged and capable as the ST300, but at something that doesn't feel like I'm carrying a brick around. I can even pocket carry the Rebar, while the ST300 is a nightmare if I decide I shouldn't wear a sheath; and decide to pocket it.

Can't freakin' believe it. I put a bid in on this pretty much mint, unused 1996 safety award PST, and won it for $15 shipped. People had placed lots of other  bids on almost all the seller's items, including a Squirt which was really well used that I'd bid on as well. My ten-dollar bid was the only one that was placed on the PST.

It's in really great shape, unsure if it will be the one I use in the upcoming PST challenge, or just display it.  The pliers are stiff though--I suspect it's because the tool isn't even broken in yet!

Thanks Steve and Cody.  I am really looking forward to it.  The tool set vs weight is what really drew me to it.

Great pick-up Cody.

A Harley Davidson Buck with branded sheath.   A lot of vintage hand tools and an empty Craftsman 3/8 Drive metal socket set box from the 50's.
