Those neodymium magnets are incredibly powerful.
Leatherman (and other makers) have been using them in their countertop display cabinets for years now.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Didn't know Leatherman used them in displays
The only problem I see with this type of storage is that you end up with magnetized tools..
