Another company stealing my images!

Here you go for all to see, Knifedepot is using my photos without permission...and for monetary reasons at that. This sort of thing pisses me off.

On one hand, it's flattery, but it'd piss me off the same, too. :/  Can you do the whole "I'm a picture thief..." edit on the in-body images, at least? :/

I could, but I strongly suspect the thief has uploaded the images and stored them on his drive. My altering the original won't transfer to his file.

No, it isn't flattery when someone steals your images to make money. It is theft. I don't mind sharing my images so long as it is for educational purposes and not for monetary reasons.

Report it to eBay. I've had other eBayer sellers swipe my photos before. I complained and eBay banned them. This was a long time ago so I'm not sure if eBay still bans users for image theft.

If you message the seller first, he might take down the pics.  I'm sure he doesn't want to jeopardize his power seller account.

Yea, if you take a look at the image source, they are on eBay's image server.

Which in a way is a good thing, it ties eBay to the copyright infringement, which should make them very receptive to your requests.

I'm happy to hear that he took them down, Dan. :)  You really do take great pictures, though, too. :tu:

Indeed :D

Ebay are pretty swift in removing swiped pictures if you ask (via the report auction form) in my experience.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

You have got to start watermarking your pics dude!

How about using an intrinsic signature like Neil's Bees?
