on: July 02, 2011, 04:15:31 PM

I have just finished reading 'Pay it forward'

In the spirit of the book I will send it on to anyone who would like to read it (It's more or less like the film)

So If you would like me to send it to you add your name and (if there's more than one person on the list) I will pick a random number next weekend

1 -
2 -
etc
etc

There's not a lot of interest in a paper back book here

Did you all see the film?

This is a Tri lingual book, Its printed in English, American and Australian  :tu:

I would definitely be keen on that idea, Pacu. :tu:  I have a plethora of books I'd be willing to swap, though I only have three Foxfire books I'd be willing to swap (they're duplicates :D).

Should we start a new thread?  I, for instance, have a number of John Grisham, sci-fi, and old school books that would be fair game if someone had a book that interested me. :)

I do like coins as much as books. I had to do a little research on it after checking out the coin.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threepence_(British_coin)

Elizabeth II threepences

The physical dimensions of the brass threepence remained the same in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The effigy of the queen produced by Mary Gillick was used, with the inscription ELIZABETH II DEI GRA BRITT OMN REGINA F D used in 1953, and ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D used in all other years. The reverse shows a Tudor portcullis with chains and a coronet, with the inscription THREE PENCE date. This coin was produced in all years from 1953 to 1967, and in 1970 (in proof sets only).

Following decimalisation, the brass threepence ceased to be legal tender after 31 August 1971.
