Yeah, the gutting hook blade appealed to me! And the 4.2 inch saw!

I've got the 172 Gardener. The big saw is great. But mine doesn't have a one-handed knife blade.

The real question is, did you actually buy the Ranger 57 (not available in North America), or Ranger 58, which was mislabeled as 57 for a few months?
The difference is that the 58 (which I bought thinking it was a 57) has a spine Phillips instead of the corkscrew and does not have the outline of a der on the scales...
