the new Lumapower "Avenger"

the people at Lumapower are coming out with a new one, the Avenger
rebel 100, no sos, so strobe,uses one AAA and others (to be announced)
they're saying up to 18 hr run time-on 5 lumen low, turbo (unknown, around 90 lumens)
M3 quality, bottom clicky, ha III finish and so much more! I'm geeked!

Under $50 is my preference.  There are so many sweet lights out there that are in that range that it makes it hard to convince myself to part with $100 for a flashlight.  I'm not quite that scared of the dark!

I was seriously thinking of getting the LOD Q4 but now!
I have the Lumapower LumaHunter M3 Transforumer and it is a great lego light that you can set up so many ways.




but it's not a pocket carry/keychain type.

I think Fenix has ruined me on high end lights.

The Gerber Infinity Ultra is pretty sweet too for an under $20 light, although I wish it had a clickie switch on it.  I hate twisting things.

lol! at one point not too long ago Fenix was "Low-End!" The Chinese wanna bee's,

Twisties are much more reliable though, as you (and many others) have experienced with Fenix.

Of course, that doesn't keep me from EDCing a Fenix w/clickie...

I'm still on the Mini Mag stage, and Mag Lites in general.  Every few weeks/months I say "alright, I'm going to get a Surefire!" or "Fenix!" or the "next best thing" to my Mags...but I never do  

I think of it this way:  50-60 years ago it was dark, and GARBAGE flashlights by todays standards lit the way...in 2007 is the dark darker?  Nope.  I'm not saying we should go back to outhouses and throw away the flush toilet, but sometimes the easier something is to buy/upgrade/self-service/power the better it is.

BTW, did you get my Mag out yet NutSAK?

I EDC a Fenix with a twisty and it is awesome!

The output is incredible for such a small thing.

I love all the Lumapower lights I've owned, and this one looks like another great design.  I really like the appearance and the clip.

That's 1.5 hours runtime, at 100 lumens powered by a 10440 Li-Ion rechargeable.

It's 2.5-3hours runtime at 55 lumens using AA alkaline or NiMH.

That's still not shabby.

That's a typo.  I meant AAA.  10440 is the Li-Ion version of the AAA.
