Last of my Wenger Collection (Picture Heavy).
on: July 11, 2011, 04:45:17 AM
In this last installment of my cataloging the smaller Wenger collection, I have a mixed bag to post here. These are the special packaged knives that I keep in the two bottom drawers along with the special packaged Victorinox knives.  Also posted here are my 93mm Soldier knives. I believe that is the whole extent of my Wenger collection...although I have a strong suspicion I may be missing a piece or two.

Enough babbling and onto the photos.

Awesome collection. Great to see some detailed photos of some of the rarer models. Love the Millennium Traveller.

Where did you get Millenium Traveler? It's awesome!
By the way I have Patrouille des Glaciers 1998, it's really nice, and it's box as well.

Great looking collection there!  :tu:

The King Arthur (?) is the plain version of the Lancelot, which doesn't show up in Wenger catalogs. Don't know if its a special run for someone or what.

King Arthur according to Wenger's catalog has slightly different set of impliments, for example it has wrench. The knife shown above has exactly the same implements as Lancelot does, but engraving is just like on King Arthur (not that complicated as on Lancelot's scales). Weird model...

povarvor, I got it from a member who resides in the UK.

Thanks Gim, I have been a member for several years now. :)

As for the King Arthur, I was uncertain and still am at what to call it. Hence the "?".

EDIT: Here is a link I made for the whole collection...seeing that this thread is only a small part. Yes, the info is dated, not including some of the newer items, but it was a lot of work at the time. :)

Do you mean what the knives are on? That is a clay tile that I was using at the time to convey knives to the mini photo studio in my living room.

These were taking in 2011. I have one now.  :salute:
