There are a few splits and a bit missing but the scales are on there really well so I've filled them using epoxy wood filla
I want to try staining the filla, if it looks bad I will replace them

Redo this one

I've been quite jealous, firstly of Gareth's condor perang/golock then of Smashie's,
now Smashie has gone and got himself a Ben Orford pocket Perang  >:(   so....

Mmmm I wonder

Lighten it a little  :)

Remove the burr from the back

Visit the Axesky sharpener
First angle

Add more angles but leave the first 3inches as a skandie  ;)

Blend angles

My Pocket Camp Golock (if you have 10”pockets)  :D
The handle is still being worked on  ;)

Gareth & Smashie Thanks for letting me play with your toys!  :hatsoff:

I've been working on this one recently, added a pot hook   :D
I used wood filler in the handle, instructions said you can stain it  :2tu: but that didn't work so well
started a sheath from a part of a plastic boot/trunk liner, with some very stiff leather belt and copper rivets

Added a cunning blade retainer  :D
Pleased so far, shame the rivets didn't all go in the same direction   ::)

I feel like cutting something now  :ahhh  :D

The metal is just too shiny on the bits I've worked on.....
So after a few coats of Gun Blue

Add a lanyard and some of my brown handle wax

In sheath

Thanks Gerhard,  :salute:

Very pleased that I decided to rescue and eperiment with the liner now  :D
Some people sell their cars then months later realize they have a useless liner taking up space in their garage and bin it... thats where I come in   :gimme:
I'm not sure of the plastic but it works a bit like PVC  :tu:

Just for Kevin as I didn't explain it very well

I bought this and a ball of string for a pound  ;) there's a spot of rust on the blade

Took it to pieces with prejudice

Looked like this when I had done

Looked like this at the meet  ::)

And this now

Happy now
