Thanks Tony, pics always help a lot  :tu:

Did you make new liners or did the old ones clean up?  They look like brass but not sure

Make new liners from brass

Both stag scales glued on to liners

Test fit

With shims

Thought I had finished here

Decided to fill the gap with brass

Supper glued in temporarily

Cut off

Blending in

Finished

Well done Tony!  :tu:

Makes me feel bad about the neglected restoration job on my grandfather's Joseph Rodgers

At least I haven't lost any parts in the 15+ years it's been in pieces

I've been working on the bottom folder in this picture

Made by CK who nowadays make tools (some good cutters and pliers  :tu: )
Some good carbon steel but plastic handles

Oh I thought the bolsters were solid but they are hollow

Fill with some epoxy  ;)

Piece of stag

So far so good  :D

That looks a tidy job, Tony  :tu: just the one pin?

I've installed the one brass pin at the back that you can see and a strange internal pin in an unused hole next to that one
Theres also an existing hidden one in the middle of the back spring and I didn't want to disturb the pivot spring in the bolster  :salute:
Plus lots or epoxy glue  ;)

Thanks Steve  :salute:

I'm not sure but I think that hole was used in assembly of the knife as that pin was also touching against the back spring
