These kinds of things make me wonder if I should sell a few things I have kicking around and fund Multitool.org for the next decade!

I don't know, this one could be argued: Mint, new in box, 1997, and even the clam-shell plastic is still shiny and not all scratched up.

And besides, he is taking offers.... ;)

These prices aren't ridiculous for Australia... A Charge TTi retails here for $325 AUD. Then you must realise that our dollar is worth more than yours.

It's positively stupid. My Charge came from the US. Even when paying "bend you over and have my way with you" shipping costs I still saved more than $100...

Thanks Paul for this one, I have been laughing for awhile at the prices from this seller.

I bought that very same Freestyle combo at Costco for under $ 20.00 about a year ago.  So I thought I would take a little look on ebay and maybe send the seller a note about the typo.  I was amazed to find that the Freestyle combo was a bargain compared to other items the seller listed!  It was not even close to the most expensive item.  I think we can all agree even though we might not care for a Freestyle it is worth 10 times the sellers most expensive item.  Here is the picture:

Let's see a Freestyle combo for about 30% less than a set of $0.99 kitchen strainer...sure makes that Freestyle Combo look good....

There are incredible errors on the sellers highest priced items!  Both items (and more) are listed by the same seller.  If you want to find these gems search on ebay for the Freestyle combo and then look at the sellers store sorted by highest price first.

But hurry you can get a 2012 Wall Calendar for $ 1000.00!  Maybe they will lower the price next month?

Thanks again Paul good find,

Bruce

Actually Bruce, there is a likely explanation for the prices. The owner of the place where I work spends most of his time selling on eBay, he has a small warehouse that he stocks by purchasing large lots at closeout sales, most times by the 40 foot trailer load. And this has and happened to him before.

What probably happened with this seller is that he or she hired someone new to put up the listings, and the new person was looking at the cost of the lot instead of the intended sale price.

So I'm thinking that the price on the Freestyle/300 combo was what the seller paid for probably 200 of them, the strainers a lot of 2000, and so on...

Although that $1500.00 porcelain serving plate looks tempting
