CNC machines I heard are the best to fabricate them.

Have tried with a Dremel tool, using the replaceable lanyard as a template. Mine wiggled.

I'd like to get a full set from this artist some day. Have the one he sent my way, as it smurfing works!

You mean like these?

We have just had a number of them made up and they will be listed in the Multitool.org Store shortly.

There are two sizes and they are machined to fit the Surge, Charge and Wave models perfectly.

i'm definately keeping an eye out for these, i cant believe leatherman hasnt seen the potential....i mean it adds another function with no change to the tool at all, brilliant

I had mentioned to Leatherman about a clip on LED light that would shine over the scales, attaching like the removable belt clip does. Their ambassador said it was an interesting idea. Nothing since.

I retrieved my hack saw model that had been forgotten in the bottom of one of my plastic boxes.
Initially the fit was a bit too tight on the Waves & Charges I tried it on & then once the painted surface had been worn off the mating surfaces it was a PERFECT fit  8) 8) 8) 8). The same saw was a very good fit in my Surge as well not quite as tight as it was in the Waves & Charges but still a great wiggle free fit  :o 8) 8) 8) 8). I do not know how Bob did it , I suspect a bit of machining magic  .
Maybe Wenger Elf is Bob's assistant  :P :D :D.I will buy some more as soon as they are available  :gimme: 8) 8) 8) 8)

Wonder if these new saw blades will be etched or branded with the MTO logo?  :D

EDC the saw that J-Sews sent me. Carrying a Piranha back there now too, in the pack pocket of the Leatherman leather Charge sheath. :2tu:

We could etch the logo into them, but at least for this run we aren't going to due to budget and time constraints.  We've been trying to get these done for a while and I'd hate for folks to have to wait much longer or pay more for them than need be.

MultiMat,
there a little wider space that cause these blades or the pocket clip to fit loose on the Surge. Read my below mention review on the Surge. In there I have included the little mod on how to rectify te loose fit. It works perfectly.
