Is thier a dispute as to this being a locking device or would we be in agreement that it is ?
QuoteIs thier a dispute as to this being a locking device or would we be in agreement that it is ?My initial guess would be that it would be considered a locking mechanism, but like everything else around here, that depends on your definition. If a tool locks, then does it need to be unlocked? Does this tool have an actual lock release or is it separating the handles? If that's the case, then wouldn't the original PST be considered locking because you can't fold the tools until the handles are opened? The more I think about it, the murkier it gets!Def
.......I sent the following to Utica Kutmaster this morning ;.......I got this reply this afternoon ;
....do you have any idea of how we can take the patent date from my tool and get a name to it ?

Does putting a spoon on the end qualify it as a multitool since it now has multiple functions? Def

DefIt already was a combination can-opener/finger-slicer-opener Taken from someone who likely has had the experience first hand . I seem to remember a pictorial displaying the use of a multi assembling a desk with someones blood displayed .

What does F.R.E.D stand for? I got told by a guy who was in the Army, but it's a little rude, so I'm not sure if it's legit or not.
