Is it just me or is the bidding on EBAY getting a little crazy?

A little whine and cheese but it seems like some sort of fever is hitting Ebay lately and the prices are getting steep. Especially with SAK's. Is it Christmas causing it?

I can't say I have really noticed, everything I am interested in goes for a ridiculously high price.

These kinds of things go in cycles.  Many folks who live in places that get cold are spending more time indoors and at the computer which might account for some of it.  Also, Christmas coming up... what to get your SAK addicted friend or spouse?  Type "Rare Victorinox" into eBay and bid till you are blue in the face because he'll love it!

I pass on almost everything these days; I look for deals on ebay, not to pay full price (or more!) for something I can get either through Tim, or EDCdepot at a comparable price I'll go there.

I do think it is the holidays cranking the prices up...everyone is on ebay looking for odds and ends they can't find in the stores.

I got one. I won a LM Pst II for $15. $15 right good deal. That's what I thought. Then I read the rest of the product description and saw that it was just the LM Pst II box. Should have read the fine print.

One time I sold a NIB unopened PSTII, and it went for just a hair over seventeen (USD, I think).

I was bidding on a Tomcat, because those devils are lovely but pricey. It ended up going for 104 American dollars, and it started at 20!

What's stupid is that there was another Tomcat with a "Buy it now" of only 99 dollars (American). I'll probably end up getting that one, but it's still a tad out of my price range. I'll probably work some overtime this summer, because I want to hurry up and get my Strad so I can buy more multitools!!!

Wives have a tough time of it. To be sooo perfect, and yet have to deal with us mistake-prone husbands...some days I imagine its a real challenge
