hi Seniors and Newbies alike..my first discussion post (after the introductory thread)... to be in Skeletool owners Club...pls do accept my sincere apology if my 1st post is a bit formal, as im aware of certain forum ettique (and pardon my english too)..well, my 1st post and my old story of my 1st LM (apart from Vics).. .. a Skeletool (SS 1st), then comes the Red Rei version. Both were pre-owned, locally and from eb about a year ago..the Red has some paint nicks on them, and now kept in the holding bay...with other MTs...8-)the frame design catches me, as its looks cool & futuristic and Skele SS is my bagged edc..may need to get other colour too..thats the 'inner peace' to rein in the 'want'..ps.. could not open the attached photo link, as im read/writing from mobile..from a year on..im starting to get few Vics (sorry!) from Tim FVEAP , more LMs ... well thats another story....8-)cheers..
I got one a couple of weeks ago so I am now in the cool group, init?Impressions:Cool terminator 1 look, especially when open at 90 degrees. The blade is smaller than I expected. I was thinking it would have this huge blade, dominating the whole tool, but apart from its width it is similar to the blade of my juice, init? The paint on the screwdriver bits is already wearing off, after being taken out a few times; not very impressive. The pliers look a bit more robust than the juice ones. The blade has to be opened quite fast to lock safely; otherwise the liner lock does not move enough to properly secure the blade. The blade seems secure enough and its backspring is solid, unlike the similar style system.

I also hoped the blade would be bigger but I don't have the problem you are having with the liner lock. Mine clicks into place with no effort at all. Is yours the newer version as in PE on CX?
