I decided to give the Skeletool another try. I sold my CX to Nate a while back but lately I've been thinking about picking up another one. Well, I won a nice used CX on the Bay tonight and it will be on it's way soon   :tu:

Nice Steve.  I had to give mine a few tries before I bonded with it.  Its not a tool I'll carry every day but its one that does see carry time.  Paired with a SAK with scissors and IMO you're all set.  Good luck bonding with it this time.

Finally got my Skeletool back from Leatherman Saturday. Looks brand new. It is definitely isn't my old one. The screwdriver bits haven't been used. Looks like they just grabbed one off the production line. It didn't come in the original pack or even with a packing slip. Just in a bubble wrap envelope. Glad to have it back. You can't beat their warranty service. Didn't need a proof of purchase or anything.

Have been carrying a wave for several years now, but decided to get me something lighter for the shorts pocket. So a skeletool Cx was ordered, and came in yesterday :)

G'Day,

I'm in too. Got this beauty from a fellow inmate.

I have never really bonded with the Skeletool. I find the pliers a little "light" and the blade does not cut quite the way I like. I have had two and both became gifts for friends. This one, however, is a good looking tool and it may get a third chance...

Cheers

Pete

Hey Pete - just joined the forum - saw you had the TOPO skeletool - and are in AUS , I'm also in Sydney and am wondering where you found it ?? really keen for a blacked out Skeletool - but seems REI don't ship the Topo black Skeletool leatherman to Australia ??
Any info would be great - super keen for a blacked out Skeletool - and wondering the best way to go about it in AUS...   Would love a blacked out version with Damascus steel if they ever made one :)

Hello!  Here is my Skeletool.
After my very first Leathetman -a Charge AL-  a MUT EOD and a Style CS followed.  The Skeletool is my 4th multitool.  Am I a little bit crazy?

At the time just didn't carry it enough to warrant keeping. it.

I was the same with my first one . The second one ( in my pocket as I type ) is my constant lazy day / round the house carry . The pouch on the lanyard contains 4 double ended Leatherman bits .

Best Regards,

Chris
