Skeletool alone or paired with a SAK is the best EDC IMO. I carry it with a fieldmaster daily.

I love the Skeletool CX paired with a Style CS. They look and work like they were made for each other. Pretty close to a perfect combo for me.

@Buzz, great combo.  I've also carried that particular combo as well and I cannot agree with you more  :hatsoff:.  Those two look amazing together and IMO perform wonderfully.

Nice! Some day I'll get a cx model.

It took me a while to bond with the Skeletool.  I got the CX and even still didn't bond with it.  I finally gave it one more go and VOILLA.  Not sure what changed but its a terrific tool.  IMO pure EDC at its finest.  If all you want is a simple EDC then the 154CM blade, bit holder plus capable pliers are a total WIN.  The pocket clip and carabiner just make it super easy to carry.  I do hope you can get one sooner than later.  If you also appreciate aesthetics then IMO this tool has that too.  Like I said, it took me a while ( years ) to bond with the Skeletool but I am a total convert.

It's grown on me to. Still don't like the combo blade but it's a beauty! Carrying it more than I thought.

Had to have one LM with integrated bitadapter, skeletool it is. Most screws are hex in bike so this will handle small biketool job.

Are my old and tired eyes playing tricks on me?  Does that Skeletool have red in it?

I did pick some DMAX edition. Did not know what that is Think it is some tv channel where are some survivor series etc. It has some red / orange, else I think normal model. I have freestyle cx but maybe I stick with combo blade with this one.

Lot of Skeleys today :dd: :like:

The Skeletool deserves some spotlight, If you ask me, it's the only Leatherman tool since the old guard of the Leatherman line, to be long and thin enough, and light enough to be really truly pocketable. It may not have as many tools as something like the PST, but the tools it does have are quite excellent, and some are far better. I truly wish that Leatherman's focus was more on making their plier-based tools more pocketable, instead of being more massive and indestructible.

I received the Skeletool CX directly from Leatherman and it also uses the cheap molded pivot screws. Guess they've just cheaped out on the build quality of the tool.

It's unfortunate that Leatherman keeps cutting costs, but the Skeletool CX is still so useful. I am ordering a new one just because it's function is outstanding for my EDC needs.

Yeah it's frustrating but I agree it's still a good MT.

I'm keeping both of them. I plan on giving one to my Stepdad when my mom and him come up to visit Mothers Day. I bought him a normal Skeletool for Christmas a few years back and he really likes it (Got it for $30 shipped).

Third skele test (first was driver, second knife package opening). Primary tool, cap lifter at work. Job well done. Fuzzy pic, busy fast shot..

Just finished the surge challenge. Time to give the Skeletool some love! They are a bit like each other's opposites

Manufactured these with my Surge during the challenge. Now i finish the job with my Skeletool. Screw up the rod.  One of them was a little too long so I had to cut it off with the knife.  Now it's time for my wife to sew the fabric too the third section. The reason for this is to dampen the light from the ceiling.
