They arrived today! This was the best $62.98 + shipping I've spent this year.

It's much too early for comparisons, but I can't help thinking the spirit and soldier kick butt. Both are high quality. The soldier is lite and sturdy. The spirit, is not lite, but sturdy, slim and comfortable.

- The spirit non-outside opening tools are easier to open than all of the LM's. The core is a close 2nd.
- The primary tools on the surge and charge are easier.
- Have to like the bottle opener on the spirit better.
- There is more flex in the spirit pliers when gripped hard than the LM's.
- Spirit and Core are more comfortable for all tools but the pliers. Charge and Surge are the opposite.

Given that I have not really given each of these a workout, take all of this with a large grain of salt. Thanks again for the heads up on the sale.
