I've been carrying a black Alox Pioneer with a Nite Ize Eclipse for the last 6 months and it has been a pleasure to do so. No wear on the anodizing so far.

I should stop looking at this thread, it's hard to resist the temptation to buy one of these - but I have plenty of SAKs including a Cadet & a Farmer, I don't really need another Alox SAK that is so similar to what I already have.  The black alox is nice though and I really like the selection of tools for non-camping where I don't really need the saw that the Farmer has.
