Video wouldn't work in my browser, but my opinion is you can't make an axe too sharp as long as you've sharpened the blade with the correct profile.  In my opinion that's a convex edge as it will stay sharp longer and cause more chipping because the outward curve of the edge is pushing the work away from the blade.  In contrast, like on most knives that are hollow ground, the work is pushed into the blade rather than away from it and will bind as a result.  A sharper axe is also less likely to bounce off the work with a mis-angled swing, which then could end up hitting your foot or something other than the work. 

In short, just like knives, an axe can't ever be too sharp, as long as it's properly sharpened.
