Thanks for the heads-up, ThePeacent and Vovaster.

I like how the old Virobloc locks open both ways. Not sure what the idea behind this new design is?

Vovaster, how did you manage to break off that piece? It must have taken some force!

Yeah, some force was attached. Because this lock do not fix the blade well, like in movie some posts   before.

Sorry to hear that  :-\ Must find some good old Viroblocks, then!

I presume you´re stirring it because all of the oil is on top? I have vague recollections of this happening although the brand I´m having doesn´t have this problem.

That's right Ronald.  The majority of peanut butter here is no stir but I've developed a taste for this stuff :D

Very interesting. I´m using a single stone, don´t know the grit, and only a few strokes but I apply more force. My knives don´t split hairs, they will shave hair off my arm however.

PS I won´t let my knives get that dull to begin with.

what I'm wondering is how long that edge lasts
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

The shears have a slide button lock, made of hard plastic. It doesn´t operate as smoothly as the rotating lock of the Felco, but it is far more reliable, in my experience.
