Whichdawg, your not from the UK but I did smile when you mentioned donkey rides, I heard on the radio only a few days ago that they are now banning fat kids from donkey rides in the UK and also donkeys have to get an hour lunch break now as well!!! (These stupid rules are now common for the UK BTW)

The Donkeys had just organized prior to our trip and were on strike at the time demanding full bennnies and a 401K so we missed out on them...   :D

Yes it is a WW 11 bunker , we call them pill boxes and there are loads along the coast . They were for the German invasion that never came .
   The windmill is not operational but is a museum .

They were taken at Horsey . The pill box was right by the beach and the windmill was at Horsey mere .Just a few miles down the road from me .

I may have been there then.  Went on the Broads a few times and have also stayed in Kellingheath.  We always have a good tour around when we are up there.
