Nice pictures Eddie! Where exactly in the Phillipines are you?

J-sews, I am from San Carlos City in the island of Negros, Central Philippines. May I also know where are you from?

See Phil. Map below.

I'm in Traverse City, state of Michigan, in the United States. Right now it is 0 degrees celsius outside, and the temperature is dropping. A big snowstorm is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

It seems very strange to be looking at these pictures of sunshine and palm trees when there's a blizzard raging outside my door :-\

J-sews, I hope the weather there is not getting worst. I’ll freeze to death in that temperature. We have a very nice weather here, same as the weather of the State of Hawaii.

Here is a picture of our rice fields in the nearby hills and a picture of a century old balete (banyan) tree near a public school here.

Awesome, I love that tree!

Okay, here's a quick snapshot of my front yard right now. (The picture looks blurry because of all the blowing snow)

J-sews,

The temperature out there must be below zero. I hope the weather there will improve soon.

Had a motorcycle fun ride with my 5 buddies to the highland (2,800 ft. elevation) of our place yesterday. Here are some pictures I took with my cell phone.

It's just a 2 megapixel camera - Sony Ericsson K618i. Here's a picture of that phone below, together with my other EDC.

Only 2! :o  They still look very impressive.  I would be happy with results like that from a full dedicated camera.

Well according to the tracking info it's currently in customs in the UK so it shouldn't be long now.

They were taken at ten minutes drive from my home, just out of the city limits  :) (that's usually where I go to play with pointy things)

Mt St Helen;

front yard, I need to get me a good telephoto lens
and take proper shots, that's only x1.5
