If you don't have one already then I think everyone should have a Pulse.

I would be interested in a Pulse. I would have to find one in the for sale section here though.

Ewww icky. lol. After my horrible experience with the freestyle I am turned off by the Freestyle and Skeletool. I might give it a chance because it is the CX with 154cm blade.

I'd suggest going for something totally different to what you're used to. I think you're all LM right? A Pulse is just another LM which annoyingly only has lock releases on one side of the handle  :P

Try a Paladin PT-510, a Wenger Swissgrip, a Vic Swisstool or Spirit, A Gerber Flik or MP800, a Wenger SAK, a SOG toolclip, a Buck X-Tract ... go different  :tu:

I am mainly a LM guy but recently have fell in love with the Swiss Tool's. I am thinking another Vic possibly.

You really should try a Spirit if you've not done so already. :)

Good man   :tu: :D :D :D

I'd still have a pop at something different though. I'd definately consider having a crack at some fixed pliers (SOG/Wenger/Buck) or SOG's compound leverage (hence PT-510). I notice you've got a Gerber OTF to play with now. If you want to sample how different a Wenger SAK is to a Vic, I think a Motorist is a good choice  :salute:

You can always sell it to get yourself a Spirit if you don't like it. I'm pretty confident that if you got the Spirit first it would be a keeper  :P

Seriously? That was my biggest gripe with the locks. On one handle it's on the "correct" side to quickly release it - whether leftie or rightie - but on the other side it's not. I just couldn't got the hang of it at all. Every other tool I can think of has ambidextrous/symetrical lock releases (not counting liner locking stuff) with a toggle both sides or a doofer on the back.

Although it was just generally the amount of time it took to get any tool out and put it away that made me let it go. I can remember using the scissors once when I was in a hurry was what finally tipped the balance.

Don't be put off by my views though Captain. I couldn't abide it, but plenty of guys here really love em.
