That would be down to 2 reasons, 1) i'm a student and can't afford such frivolities 2) i can't find a set that i really like. I really should get some but i enjoy the mud too much! The only time i get annoyed i don't have them is when i get into lectures with a wet arse and have to sit there for 2hrs.

A new style Wave that day, although usually it carries my Paladin PT510.

What you think to the Paladin Roadie. I once considered one, but actually went for an SOG Powerlock instead. They seem quite a hard multitool to find though.

Its a cool little tool, not really used the punch down tool on it but all the other tools have been used a lot and they have stood up well, i especially like the philips driver, very well made. The extra leverage on the pliers has been very useful aswell.
I got mine from supratentorial earlier this year, not seen another one up for sale here since. They are very rare over this side of the pond too.

Cheers Roadie, sounds like a decent tool, although if its similar to the Powerlock I'm sure I'd like it. The extra leverage is excellent on the SOG/Paladin. I'll keep my eyes open and hopefully see one sometime in the future. :)
