The SanRenMu H02 (slipjoint)

There’s many a debate across the worldwide web about the 701 and it’s “inspiration” the CRK Sebenza. Without getting bogged down in that lively and rather cyclic discussion, the thing that comes out of it is that the SRM is actually a very nice knife and has won several fans. For someone who generally prefers slipjoints over locking knives and who lives in the UK, this is a bit of a moot point – but after seeing dks post some pictures of the H02 I thought this is something I need to try.

First impressions are that this IS a cheap knife – but a perfectly acceptable one for daily tasks. The choil could have been a little better for choking up on like the UKPK or Byrd Wings, and the OHO isn’t the World’s quickest in deployment. There is also no clip which for some is a deal breaker, but for those wanting OHO without the ramifications of a locking blade these do make for a nice gentleman’s folder. The blade is probably sufficiently pointy enough, and the deployment click audible enough to give a little old granny some continence issues if used to peel an apple on a bus, but otherwise I’d have no problem dropping one of these in my pocket whether I was wearing jeans or a suit.

Time will tell on the edge retention and general longevity of these items, but I’m very confident at this stage that it’ll hold up just fine and more importantly be easy enough to sharpen when the time comes

Good to see you now have the complete collection  :D

I said it before, I like the blue one the most and the brown the least.

They are solid enough and feel like a much better product, compared to the other, SS SRM slipjoints.

To be honest these are the first SRMs I've tried mate. I'm quite hapy with them though, and I've had one in my pocket ever since they arrived

Shoot me a PM, I should have a coupon code around somewhere for Exduct that you can have, it should pay for registered airmail at least.

That's exactly where I got them from. Somewhere on the site there's a price for the family (3 different scale options) and I got two individual extras too. I could fire one up to you to play with if you want mate

Given just how cheap they are on that site, it's probably not worth the stamps to send one up and back  but thanks for the offer. :tu:
