Give it a WD-40 bath and scrub with a toothbrush , vinegar is only needed for heavy rust.

First Leatherman I ever used was my dad's OST. I finally broke down and ordered myself one from eBay after losing my wave. Once I get home from this trade show it should be waiting for me! I'm very excited.

Just got home a bit ago, soaking it in some solvent now. Pliers head gummed up, minor chip in the straight blade, but otherwise appears unscratched in every tool.... even the handles! no sharpening marks on the blades. From the grainy auction picture and the terribly chewed up pouch pictured, I expected a well worn but serviceable tool. Once I clean it up this weekend I'll get some pictures out, but I think folks.... I have a nearly brand new tool!  :multi:
