If ya all go back through facebook, Juli answered the question about Tim's EDC directly. I'm thinking it was 6 months to a year ago, so it may be a hard one to find.

Also there is a interview (somewhere) with Tim from about a decade ago where he talks about the tool he carries, and what color it is (hint, hint)

I can't believe he only carries one for any length of time, I find it impossible to be satisfied with one EDC since I joined this forum.

I'm the same way but I do always revert to the Blast.

Was it something like "I think it is the ______ one on his belt :) He has a tool with exactly the features he wants, but it looks pretty much like a __________ on the outside."?

It's been answered.  I'm kinda shocked.  Now I want one!

Well it has been now... I was simply asking because the reply I had seen on facebook wasn't signed by Juli so I wasn't sure it was the one he was talking about.

However now it has been answered I'll fill in the blanks I left out.

"I think it is the custom one on his belt :) He has a tool with exactly the features he wants, but it looks pretty much like a Charge TTi on the outside."

I wonder if whoever answered in March didn't really know, why claim it is a custom if it isn't?

Not that it really matters. Guess I have yet another reason to love my Charge Ti. ;) One day I would like a Charge TTi without the crimper too.

I'm sorry Mercury, that came out all wrong. I get your comment wasn't at me and I sure didn't mean to come across so rude. Being in the middle of trying to get my kids to eat their dinner, my agro came through into my post. No offence intended mate, my bad.

The day of your visit going to be a recognized MTO holiday, like an anniversary? Or perhaps the date he engraved his tool could be proclaimed Tim Leatherman Day?!

No worries.  I really was just responding in general, but I took no offense to your post.  I'm just jealous that you have a Ti!

I had thought that it was Juli, and perhaps she did not ask Tim directly and just assumed it was custom, because he used to carry a custom yellow Juice. Then again I could be all wrong, and it was someone else.
