Swisstool needed.
on: December 26, 2007, 12:57:09 PM
I have decided that I can no longer live without a Swisstool  :gimme:.  Every post somehow involves the Swisstool and how great they are and I just can't take not having one anymore!

I am ideally looking for a used one that is either standard or an X.  I am not fussed about cosmetic condition as long as it is all functioning correctly and that no tools have been snapped off or bent.

Please post here or PM me if you having one that you are willing to part with.  By the way, I am in the UK.

Thanks a lot guys!

Don't I know it!

I nearly even bought a broken one the other day, just to have one! ::)  I think I have a problem.

I have one in good condition, but I'm not quite sure if I want to part with it yet. I can sell you a Spirit, however, if you want one of those.

I am really looking for a Swisstool rather than the spirit.  If you do decide you want to part with it please do let me know!  :D

That's a good price for the UK Dunc.  Still not as good as what the banner members though.  I know Marc has them for under $60.  And I really would like a used one still.

I'm waiting to see what Tim gets in stock in regards to which plier head type...I'd like one of the newer designs and I assume that's what he'd get in his next shipment :climber:

Even better, I emailed him letting him know there are a few of us here eagerly awaiting a Swisstool ,and it would be nice to see a quick post here when he get's them available.

Is the 2005 head the newest design?

Although I EDC a 2002 plier head I prefer the earlier models as the handles felt more comfertable because when the handles were open they were a little closer together then the 2002 /05 models .

Yep, the X is the one I'm after.  Did you get a sheath with a snap on it?  If so, does it click closed nice and solid?

No it's a velcro one.  Best sheath I have though.  It is really nicely made and the tool slides in real easy and fits snugly inside.
