Kenneth, that's a nice looking safety razor; it's pricey, though. o.o I have ten (or so) Gillette safety razors that I picked up on the cheap (nine of them were $1.20 each; the last one or two were slightly more, maybe $5 most) that I still need to clean up. I know they aren't as shiny as a Merkur or the Mühle, but they should shave just as well. [Edit: I still use my Gillette Fusion Quattro simply because I still have a couple spare razor cartridges remaining. The two or three I have should last for another year or so.]
I'm a safety razor user - the double edged blade kind. I haven't used disposables for many years. I keep promising myself I'm going to get the courage together to try a straight razor. I think I might feel better starting out with the straight/dispoable first for the reasons mentioned (cheap and guaranteed edge quality) - thanks Woz

I like a good quality rechargeable, lets me shave on the go. Side Note: I cannot believe that there is actually a shaving forum with more than one million posts...

If you don't mind paying for whatever shipping costs, I'd let you have one of mine for $1.50. That's a couple cents more than what I have in it. It'll obviously need a bit of cleaning, but I can direct you to The Art of Manliness' suggested cleaning method.
Well if it doesn't show up, just drop me a PM and I'll get you sorted.
Lol, ok. I'll toss it in with the last of the LAPG package... if the frinxing package ever arrives.
